The diagnosis pulmonary mainly carried by acid-fast bacilli smear microscopy, culture on Lowenstein–Jensen media, GeneXpert MTB/RIF assay. Results: Out samples 13.84% positive via assay while 5.12% through microscopy which statistically significant (p<.0001). When GeneXpert, taking as gold standard rural setup Nepal sensitivity 37.03%, its specificity 90.81%.
Conclusions: a rapid that can aid timely tuberculosis, facilitating treatment area.
